Poetry & Book Fest Annual Growth
The 3rd Annual Pomona Valley Poetry and BOOK Fest at the Los Angeles County Fair was a HUGE success.
This year, we had 2 stages and over 150 participating artists composed of Four Poet Laureates, 80 Poet/Authors, and 65 Musical Artists!
This year {2024} LionLike MindState reached into the Community to collaborate with our Peer Culture Curators to provide a Unique SoCal UnderGround HipHop presentation to the greater audience at the Fair and all Artists were met with smiles. Many Onlookers both singing along and dancing to Their NEW Favorite local Artists.
We would like to extend our Thanks to the Bananas Crew of Leimert Park, Noa James and Brick2yaFace, Cam Gnarly and R.A.D. Habits. LET’s RUN IT BACK!
We’d also like to thank Poet Laureates: Kim B Miller of Virginia, Dasan Ahanu of NC Piedmont and Tshaka Campbell of Santa Clara County, as well as OUR OWN Inaugural Poet Laureate of Pomona David Judah 1 Oliver for Blessing Our Kickoff Weekend and for Flying across the Country to Do so. You Honored and helped make this thing Official with Your Blessings and Presence.
We had 150+ Artists this Year. We are planning for 200 next Year. Will you be Counted in making this History?
